THE MICROSPHERESTM
MICROSPHERES are small, flexible spherical polymer particles that are filled with an inert gas. They provide excellent reflectivity of thermal radiation, keeping interiors warm during cold weather and reducing heat buildup in summertime.
Additional advantages provided by the Microspheres in CIQ paint are high flexibility, abrasion resistance and very high inherent resistance to growth of mold and fungus.
Tests have confirmed that CIQ has the most effective insulating properties of any latex paint currently available on the market. Walls covered with CIQ paint reflect up to 95% of thermal radiation. The unusual properties provided by the microspheres enable CIQ to intelligently respond to temperature changes both inside and outside of the painted room.
